Synopsis
Mathilde Rousseau, 42, was a woman in balance: loving wife, attentive mother, and silent partner in the family air transport company founded by her husband David. But in a split second, a plane crash destroys this fragile equilibrium. David is gone, leaving Mathilde alone to face enormous responsibilities: managing a company in financial crisis, raising two traumatized teenage children, and navigating overwhelming grief. The first months are a daily battle against depression and feelings of inadequacy. Employees doubt her abilities, creditors apply pressure, and her family suggests selling the company. Mathilde gradually sinks, losing confidence in herself and her future. Then she meets Luc, a corporate restructuring consultant hired to save the company. Beyond his professional expertise, Luc sees past Mathilde's grief. He recognizes in her a strong woman who has forgotten her own power. Between professional mentorship and authentic human connection, a friendship forms, then something deeper. But this isn't simply a love story: it's the story of a woman who rediscovers herself, who takes back control of her company, who heals as a mother, and who envisions a new chapter in her life. The journey is fraught with obstacles: buried secrets about the accident, family tensions, business challenges, and the persistent fear of abandonment.
